Laura and Tom - 25th June 2011 - Woodlands Hotel, Brent Knoll

Laura and Tom's Classic English wedding was held at the very quaint Woodlands Hotel in East Brent, a really intimate setting for a very elegant day. The couple took inspiration from the hotels decor for their muted sage green colour theme that also worked nicely with the fabulous rich green gardens. It seemed that everyone was having such a great day and I hope Tom and Laura have a wonderful honeymoon in Kenya.

Laura and James - 18th June 2011 - Winford Church and Coombe Lodge

We arrived in a whirlwind of hair and makeup preparations at Lauras parents house on Saturday morning, where the bride and her 4 attendants were getting ready. It seems that Laura was rather prepared for the wet weather and had a number of white umbrellas at the ready. Luckily they werent needed as fabulous sunshine appeared at the church just as the bridemaids did. Jen and I shot some unusual perspectives at Commbe Lodge using tradesmens stairs and bushes as beautiful natural archways for some contemporary shots. A very elegant wedding and a wonderfully photogenic couple who were a pleasure to photograph.

Sarah and James - 11th June 2011 - Coombe Lodge, Blagdon

The incredibly versatile setting of Coombe was emphasised on Saturday, with the orginally outdoor wedding quickly rearranged to happen inside even though this involved dismantling the tables already setup for the wedding breakfast. It was all unnecessary though as the clouds went away just as Sarah arrived and the sun shone for the rest of the day. I was able to use the picture perfect sunset for some great shots later in the day after an amazing meal.  I was made to feel so welcome by the couple and all of their guests and hope that Sarah and James had their perfect wedding.
